Purpose¶

The module SoCSOIsoEditor generates iso-contours interactively.

While interacting, a single iso-contour is generated, using the image value currently under the mouse cursor as the iso-value. Existing iso-lines can be modified by selecting it and dragging the mouse over the image; this updates the image value under the mouse cursor and by that, also the iso-line.

If an optional input image is attached, the iso-value is obtained from that input image and the iso-line is also generated for the input image. Note that the input image must have the same image extent and voxel-to-world-matrix as the image shown by the 2D viewer.

A newly created CSO is added to a CSOGroup that is given by an ID in Id.

If a CSOGroup with the given ID does not already exist, it is created before being filled.

The ID -1 is invalid; adding a CSO to the CSOGroup with ID -1 means adding the CSO to no CSOGroup.
