Purpose

The module DicomSetPatientInformation sets patient and study information from a given reference image into DICOM images.

It sets the patient name in slices obtained from a SoExaminerViewer module that have no DICOM tags at all.

Usage

• Connect the image in which the patient name have to be set to the input0 of the module.

• Connect the reference image from which the patient name has to be retrieved to the input1 of the module.

• Modify the PatientsName, PatientID, PatientsBirthDate, PatientsAge, PatientsSex, or PatientComment tags, which are automatically set from the reference image.

• Enter a StudyID, SeriesNumber, AcquistionNumber, ContentDate, or ContentTime. The SeriesNumber and AcquisitionNumber can be increment form the value given in the field by pressing the Next button. The ContentDate and ContentTime can be set by pressing the Now button.

• You can modify the StudyDescription, SeriesDescription, ImageComment, or AccessionNumber if appropriate.

• Connect output0 of the module to a save module, e.g., DicomTool for saving of the new images.
